How to claim your earned NFTs

A quick guide on how to claim any NFTs that you have earned from events.

Sometimes there are events within The Sandbox community where you can earn or win NFTs. If you are eligible for any of these NFTs, you will be able to claim them from a dedicated page on The Sandbox website.

Claiming your earned NFTs

Step One: Go to the NFT claiming page

Log into your account on The Sandbox. And then go to this page: https://nft.sandbox.game

Step Two: Select an NFT

You will see some of the recent NFTs that were possible to earn on this page. Click any that you believe you are eligible for.

Step Three: Review the NFT

You will be shown some information about the selected NFT. When you are ready, click any one of the two claim buttons that are on this page.

Step Four: Claim the NFT

You will be redirected to The Sandbox Marketplace. If you are truly eligible to claim the selected NFT, you will see a green claim button on the right of the page. Click this to claim the NFT.

Step Five: Confirm

Your wallet should pop up asking you to confirm the action of claiming your NFT. Do so and be patient while the claim processes on the Ethereum blockchain - which may take several minutes, depending on congestion on the blockchain.

Done!

When the process is complete, you will be able to see your claimed NFT in your Sandbox inventory. To go there, click "Me" on the left panel to go to your profile, and then click the "ASSETs" tab at the top of the screen.

You can also see your claimed NFT in your wallet on NFT exchanges like OpenSea or Rarible.

Troubleshooting

I do not see the green claim button on the NFT's marketplace page

This usually means that you are not eligible to claim that particular NFT. Some of the NFTs required you to perform certain actions before a specific date in order to be eligible.

For example, to be eligible for the Wizzy The Golden NFT, you needed to have provided $SAND to the UniSwap Liquidity Mining program any time before the 25th January 2021.

If you believe you are eligible, then make sure you are using the correct wallet to log into your Sandbox account. It needs to be the wallet that you were using at the time that any snapshots were taken.

I claimed the NFT successfully but I do not see it in my wallet

Cryptocurrency wallets are not great at showing your ERC-1155 tokens (ASSETs). You can correctly see your ERC-1155 ASSETs in the inventory on your Sandbox profile. To go there, click "Me" on the left panel to go to your profile, and then click the "ASSETs" tab at the top of the screen.

You can also see your claimed NFTs in your wallet on NFT exchanges like OpenSea or Rarible.

My wallet says it is unable to process the transaction

This is usually an indication that you do not have enough ETH in your wallet for the blockchain's transaction fees, known as gas.

My wallet says that it is locked

Unlock your wallet by logging into it via the wallet's official website or browser extension. Then refresh the relevant page and try again.

I forgot what wallet I registered with

The NFT is not in my inventory after claiming it

Please wait. It can take time for transactions on the blockchain to complete, especially during periods of heavy congestion. You can track the progress of the transaction by going to Etherscan.io (this is a third-party website) and pasting your wallet address into the search box.
