Withdraw LAND from Polygon to Ethereum

A step by step guide to withdrawing your LAND(s) from Polygon's Layer 2 to the Ethereum blockchain.

Withdrawing LAND to the Ethereum Blockchain

Step One

Head on over to the bridge page on The Sandbox, here: https://sandbox.game/en/me/profile.

Step Two

Select the LAND(s) that you want to withdraw to the Ethereum L1, then click on "Confirm Withdraw".

Step 3

A pop-up will appear on the right of the screen that allows you to review the LANDs selected for transfer and the estimated gas fees that the transaction will incur. Click on "Confirm" if you are satisfied with the information.

Step 4

The LANDs have reached the checkpoint. Click on the action required to continue the withdrawal process.

Step 5

The transaction has now reached the checkpoint. Click confirm, this will prompt

You will be able to check the status of your transaction at any time by clicking on the "transaction history"

Step 6

Once the transaction is successful, the LAND will appear on the left of the screen. Congratulations! Your LAND has now been withdrawn to the Ethereum network. You will be able to view them here:

Notes

If you do not get a prompt from your wallet asking you to confirm the transaction, disable all adblocking and pop-up blocking extensions on your browser temporarily, and try again.

If there is still no wallet prompt, then try a different browser. Particularly if you are using Brave, which our The Sandbox community members report doesn't always behave nicely with non-Brave wallets.

It can take ten minutes, or sometimes more, for the transferred LANDs or mSAND to be reflected in your wallet. This can be affected by congestion on the network.

You need to use PolygonScan when tracking transactions on the Polygon network, not Etherscan, which is for transactions on the Ethereum network.
