Withdraw SAND from Polygon to Ethereum

A step by step guide to withdrawing your LAND(s) from Polygon's Layer 2 to the Ethereum blockchain.

Withdrawing SAND to the Ethereum Blockchain

Step One

Head on over to the bridge page on The Sandbox, here: https://sandbox.game/en/me/bridge.

Step Two

Press the Polygon "Withdraw" button. This will prompt a pop-up to appear on the right of the screen.

Step 3

Select the amount of mSAND on the Polygon network that you want to withdraw to SAND on the Polygon network. And then click "Start Withdrawal".

Step 4

Review the amount you wish to deposit and click "Confirm".

Step 5

When prompted, sign the transaction on your wallet.

Step 6

The funds are being processed and reaching the checkpoint. This process can take a few hours to complete the withdrawal depending on network congestion.

Step Seven

Your SAND has reached the checkpoint. On the bridge page, click on the "1 Action Required".

Step Eight

Your mSAND has reached the checkpoint. Confirm the new transaction. A small ETH gas fee will be incurred.

Then when prompted, sign the transaction on your wallet.

Step Nine

The transaction is successful. You can find your SAND in your Ethereum wallet.

Notes

If you do not get a prompt from your wallet asking you to confirm the transaction, disable all adblocking and pop-up blocking extensions on your browser temporarily, and try again.

If there is still no wallet prompt, then try a different browser. Particularly if you are using Brave, which our The Sandbox community members report doesn't always behave nicely with non-Brave wallets.

It can take a few hours, for the transferred LANDs or mSAND to be reflected in your wallet. This can be affected by congestion on the network. You can view the withdrawal status at any time by going to yout transaction history on the bridge page.

You will need to use Etherscan to track transactions on the Ethereum network,.
