7: Create your Reward

INTRODUCTION:

What would be our Quests without a Reward at the end? Let's reward Player for their success!

A) REWARD TIMING

The Reward should be spawned once the 2nd Quest is finished. To do so, go inside the Rules Window, into your 2nd Quest, and set the Action after completion to "Send Message", and write a new Message in it (or let the default one).

B) REWARD LOCATION & SPAWN

This is an easy thing, and you already know how to do it now!

  • select your NPC B

  • put a Drop Component on it

  • set the Drop condition to Message, and link the 2nd Quest after completion Message

  • set its Type of Drop as Behaviour

  • select the ASSET reward you want

  • set it as No Collisions

  • (optional but appreciated: put a Collect Sound on it as it is a Reward)

Now you have a Reward! You can even put on it a Collect Message to open a Door in your Level, or create a new Quest coming along with this Collect, etc.

Tip: Put a Drop Component on OBJECTs with NO COLLISIONS to be sure that it can be gathered if it is supposed to be collectible.
