Grid System & Snap Tool

NEW AND IMPROVED FEATURES IN GAME MAKER 0.9

The new grid system and snap tool update introduces a customisable way to place blocks and assets according to your project needs.

  • Set your gizmo configuration directly in the grid system with the local and global options.

  • Set the amount of blocks of movement of the gizmo.

  • Set the amount of degrees of rotation of the gizmo.

  • Use the OSNAP toggle to snap objects to the grid (no longer holding shift every time)

  • Toggle on and off the X, Y, and Z buttons to only snap to the axes needed

  • Click the Snap to Ground button to move objects to a solid block surface beneath it

  • Toggle the visible grid on and off

  • Set the scale of your grid as guidelines to block out areas for gameplay, measure, etc.

  • Set the opacity of your grid to suit your preference
