GAME MAKER 0.10 NEW FEATURE

This new behaviour introduces logic to launch projectile objects and determine the effects when collisions occur. It has a broad variety of use cases.

Communications

Inputs: One or more messages

Outputs: One message sent upon collision (new CollidedActors Broadcast Type)

Use Cases

  • High or low speed projectile use cases

  • Communicating messages when ranged collisions with specific targets are achieved (including teams, tags, etc)

  • Player decision making using visible trajectories
