Every now and then, The Sandbox may host limited-time events in the metaverse. Players can enjoy visiting many different experiences during these events and potentially earn rewards in the process.
What are the actions that users will have to perform to participate in the event, and how can they be kept engaged? For instance, in a season, users need to complete quests inside experiences in order to progress (level-up).
What will make a user regularly come back to the event? For instance, in a season, experiences are released one after the other during the whole season to incentivize users to come back daily to play the latest released experience.
Exploration, discovery, social: Part of the incentive to participate in an event is to discover its content, but also to interact socially with the community.
Rewards: Play to Earn rewards are also a strong incentive for users to participate in events.
Raffle rewards: only a limited number of winners
Guaranteed rewards: users earn rewards if they meet certain conditions (participating in an event, owning a certain NFT, etc.)
The Sandbox is able to create custom Events for some special themed Events. We reserve the right to select the Experiences based on their relation to the topic.
When applying for an event, we have listed below a list of responsibilities divided between The Sandbox and the trusted partner.
The Sandbox is responsible for basic operations; the rest is managed by the trusted partners.

A predefined duration set (1 day to 12 weeks)

The Sandbox has held a workshop around Self Publishing giving access to our Advanced Partners the chance to try it out before the officia launch.
You must be a Land owner, the Land(s) must be in your Wallet
The experience must be in your inventory. As soon as you save anything in Game Maker it appear in the inventory
You must own all of the NFTs or assets in the experience
Your experience must be optimized for GM/GC 0.8.x
Self Publishing will allow all creators owner of a Land to publish seamlessly.
